Thank you to those who supported THE DROP 104.7 on Colorado Gives Day!

Due to high winds and fire danger, XCEL Energy is periodically cutting power to our transmitter site on Lookout Mountain. This will result in periodic broadcast outages which will persist until fire danger subsides. Thank you for your understanding and support! You can listen online and on THE DROP 104.7 app.

Riaga Performing at Sun Valley Viaduct Night Market

Indigo Jones, is vibing with you weeknights and Saturdays from 7 p.m

Recently, Indigo Jones had the pleasure of sitting down with Riaga, a reggaeton and Afrobeats artist, songwriter, producer, audio engineer, and performer raised in Aurora, Colorado.

Growing up Peruvian and Nigerian, Riaga faced a lot of bullying for being mixed-race, which led him to music at age ten. What started as an escape became a passion that shaped his sound, blending both sides of his heritage. Beyond making music, he’s a man of many hats. He mixes, masters, produces his own work, co-directs his visuals, and coined the phrase "Oh look! It's the gang!" in 2018.

Riaga is no stranger to the stage. He opened up for Tech N9ne and performed at festivals across the country, including the recent Daze Summit Music Festival in New York. As the only Reggaeton artist on the lineup, he felt the weight and importance of representing his culture and community. That same energy will be brought to the Sun Valley Viaduct Night Market this Saturday night, where he intends to make the audience feel seen, heard, and free to dance!

Indigo and Riaga discussed the development of his craft, his New York performance, and what's in store this Saturday, May 16, 2026.
