Thank you to those who supported THE DROP 104.7 on Colorado Gives Day!

Due to high winds and fire danger, XCEL Energy is periodically cutting power to our transmitter site on Lookout Mountain. This will result in periodic broadcast outages which will persist until fire danger subsides. Thank you for your understanding and support! You can listen online and on THE DROP 104.7 app.

Community Corner | Denver Feed-A-Family

During last week’s Community Corner, Sugabear and La Molly welcomed Pastor Frank Jones and his daughter, Indigo Jones, to highlight the legacy of Denver humanitarian Daddy Bruce Randolph and the upcoming Denver Feed-A-Family event. Pastor Jones shared that Randolph was “a giant of an individual, a humanitarian in his own right,” whose annual mission was to “feed over 5,000 people” through love and service. Jones explained that the need today is greater than ever, noting, “People are anxious and fearful about where their next meal is going to come from,” and emphasized how faith drives his commitment: “Faith that is not tested is not real faith.”

Indigo spoke emotionally about witnessing her father’s work, saying she is “very inspired” because her father is not like this just to the public, he’s like this privately. She described the power of community coming together on the massive Thanksgiving assembly line, calling it “high energy, positive energy. A good vibe.”

This year’s event takes place Saturday, November 22, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1865 Bruce Randolph Ave. Denver, CO 80205. Volunteers and supporters can sign up or donate at EpworthFoundation.org.
