Mang-Yee Reverie interviews Albe Daniels on 20 Years of "ATL"
Recently Mang-Yee Reverie welcomed rapper and actor Albert “Albe” Daniels to the studio to celebrate 20 years of ATL, a coming-of-age story of four teens trying to find their place in the world as they get ready to graduate high school. Albe played Brooklyn, a character who is a friend to the ATL’s main character, Rashad (played by T.I.).
He spoke about what it was like to be a young actor, recalled funny moments and memories on and off set, and shared some insight on his path to starring in the 2006 Classic. In addition to being an amazing actor, Albe also is a producer/songwriter and has credits on many projects, including numerous Kanye West albums. He recently released a new single, “It’s for Me,” which THE DROP 104.7 aired last week as a world premiere.
Happy 20th Anniversary to the entire cast and crew of ATL. Still a cult classic!
