Cinco de Mayo Recap
KUVO JAZZ and THE DROP 104.7 had a wonderful time this past weekend at Denver's annual Cinco de Mayo Festival! Held right in the heart of Civic Center Park, this year's celebration was packed with so much Latin culture and positive energy from the community. There was beautiful cultural dancing featuring people of all ages, genders, and sizes; talented, local Latin artists killin’ it on stage; and races with really cute chihuahuas! Also, what’s a Cinco de Mayo festival without getting some delicious eats? Of course we had to partake in getting food from Denver's favorite Latin-owned food businesses!
However, one of the biggest highlights was getting to connect with our listeners, who stopped by our booths, to share stories and kind words about the impact that KUVO JAZZ and the DROP 104.7 have had on the everyday lives of our audiences. It’s also not just people who enjoy our stations: animals are fans too!
